ACCEPT

Hi frndz!!!!!!!!!!!

Now honourable minister of state for external affairs Mr. Shashi Tharoor definitely has a knack for being in the public eye.Well this is a different matter and I do not wish to comment upon this ,but I would surely like to advise the CONGRESS PARTY to be a little more accomodative. The Congress leadership, has seen generations of sycophants doting around them and they are well accustomed to this sort of politics. But why do the self proclaimed leaders of change hesitate when it comes to altering their own perceptions???This time Mr. Tharoor is in the limelight for pointing a finger at the Nehruvian Foreign Policy. NEHRU ,the father figure of the party ,and Tharoor ,just an MP and a minister. But surely Mr. Tharoor can exercise his right to freedom of expression since he is an INDIAN before being a congressman and a minister. When you talk of principles , when u never resist to boast that ur party has leaders of conscience ,then why do u reprimand them whenever they publicize their opinion. How do u xpect to run a democracy when u arent willing to pay heed to the dissenting elements of ur own house. The party never ceases to declare that democracy is not only about majority but also about the proper recognition and welfare of the minority.Mr. Nehru is a revered figure for a majority of the leaders but why dont these leaders first ask Tharoor for his clarification instead of indignating the poor fellow to such an extent that in the very next press statement he disowns everything that he has said.Leaders should be broad minded ,this is what the congress brags about,it openly criticizes the narrow minded zealots but isnt BLIND WORSHIP OF MR. NEHRU by the congressmen a supreme example of petty mindedness???If I were to go by the preachings of the party I should be ready to accept the myriad of opinions on the various party policies and I should be glad to have such people who question and offer alternatives .

This only proves the age old adage that it is much easier to preach than to practice.
